My father took up his residency in January 2017. Some 4.5 years ago. I visit on a regular basis. He has advanced Alzheimers. The staff are very fond of my dad and show genuine affection to him. He is well looked after and cared for. During lockdown the staff became my dads family and I am eternally grateful for this. Its the staff who make this home special. The rooms are large, well equipped and well cleaned. There is a cafe which is free for relatives. The staff are friendly, caring, helpful and genuine. The dining room is spacious and has a homely feel. The home has a comfortable lounge with quality fittings. Their are plenty of activities going which relatives are encouraged to enjoy. A wonderful place with a wonderful manager (Rick) at time i joined CareUK first time before moving to another location. Nice to see Sherwood Grange flying high with an "Outstanding" CQC rating. Well done team.

The team at Sherwood Grange are one in a million. Aside from the actual care provision and smart rooms, decent food and some really creative activities, it's the team that make it truly 'outstanding' as per the official rating. They made us feel very welcome on arrival and nothing feels too much trouble. I'm happy to recommend them.

I entertain at many care homes and I have to say that Sherwood Grange is one of the best! The manager and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the residents are relaxed and happy. The activities team are amazing and go above and beyond to provide excellent activities and entertainment. I would highly recommend this home
