Leadgate Pharmacy (Farah Chemists)

After being a customer here for 20plus years today was the last straw. There has been a noticeable decline in customer service over the last 4 years and the recent opening hours change along with the attitude of some staff members was the deal breaker. The new opening times are anti-social to anybody that works with the only offered solution by the pharmacy being to go somewhere else. (For reference the opening hours are 9am-1pm 1:30pm-5:30pm, Mon-Fri only). One member of staff was trying to offer solutions such as home delivery only for the other staff members to mention that they're not for me due to paying for prescriptions and attempts to belittle my comments and laugh at my predicament. Along with my comments, other things to note are the slow waiting times, they only service one person at a time, poor lighting, heavy door (accessibility issue), very empty shelves, staff verified customers by reading their details out (privacy issue). I am really saddened to see what was a good pharmacy turn into such a mess. It's as though they are actively trying to lose customers.

Fantastic service from the staff at Leadgate Pharmacy, particularly Leo always going out of his way to help with heavy items and also ensuring my items are in stock when required. This is a marked improvement as previously the service has been slow and not very efficient.

Despite the pandemic my wife and I have always found Leadgate Pharmacy staff very helpful, polite and pleasant. All pharmacies have done their level best to deal with crazy workloads and low staff numbers. Thank you to you all.
