They will collect and deliver in a mini-bus, which was a helpful extra.
My wife was never sure when going, but she came home smiling, animated and joyful having clearly had a good time.

When asked if the day centre was still open if we brought mum the answer was we dont know if its open or not Really? You dont know if its open or not???
Adult day care is a vital service for people at the moment, we have one day a week where we can actually relax for a few hours, not worry about that mum is going to try and get up to about the house, and a chance to go to the supermarket and get the weeks supplies in. Thats out the window this week.
What about vulnerable people who live on their own with carers coming to cook meals? Are they just left home alone if it snows with no lunch as they wont have a carer due if they are at the day centre?
