We were greeted at the door by a totally rude and unwelcoming woman advising us we could not come in without a booking as they were fully booked( there were about 15 empty tables!!).
Needless to say we were welcomed at the courthouse and then went for our meal.
When leaving the restaurant we walked by to see that Jo Allen's still had many empty tables and to make it worse a couple of friends we bumped into at the restaurant walked straight into jo Allen's afterwards without a booking.
For the life of us we can't understand why we weren't allowed in , especially after going there many times before (the last time was the week before and was served by a friendly and helpful barman).
Bit of a shame but because of this woman we will not be going back!!
