Holly here! Stayed over this past weekend in the four poster room and it was honestly such a dream! Cononley Hall is one of the nicest, friendliest places I've ever stayed! Pam and Andy were friendly and kind from the second I arrived. The room itself was gorgeous, I felt like I was staying in a castle. I adored the window seat that overlooked the immaculate garden Andy keeps, with the sunlight streaming in. I loved the little touches throughout, such as a range of treats like a little jar of flapjacks waiting among the tea, coffee, hot chocolate by the kettle. I was out and about meeting friends during the daytime and would return in the evening, and the soft bed was always a welcome sight! Breakfast was a delight! Always a warm cheery welcome from Pam and Andy, willing to make anything for breakfast. It was an absolute must for my busy weekend to have coffee and fruit and a cooked breakfast to keep energy up! The cooked breakfast I had two mornings in a row was honestly delicious. Other guests would say hello and chat across the breakfast room, so you always felt safe and happy during your stay! The surrounding area is incredible, picturesque and has a lovely atmosphere. Walking down the road, people would say good morning and chat, which just made you feel so welcome. It's a friendliness that just isn't the same down South! Thank you so much Pam and Andy! You made my trip all the more memorable and lovely! I would feel so lucky to be able to come back and stay again!
