Recently purchased the wife a mini convertible from Alex. Car in spot on condition, one minor issue which was fixed. No pushy salesman routine, let myself, the wife and the dog take it out for a test drive for as long as we wanted with no hassle. Both the wife and the dog are really happy with the car! Would recommend Alex and would buy again from him.

A great experience start to finish Having had some previous bad luck, I was beginning to doubt if buying a used car from a dealer was worth the saving over buying a new car, but after finding Alexander Pauls I now feel better about the whole thing. I went to look at an Audi that had just been listed and was made to feel to very welcome from the outset, after a brief chat with the owner (Alex) he let me have a good look around the car with no pressure. I spent a good hour going over it with a fine tooth comb - youll know why if youve seen my other review. After my once over I went inside to have a gander at the papers and found it had a great history and plenty of care taken by the previous owner. Anyway, after Id done with the look over of the car and documents, I was taken on a test drive. Again no pressure and I was given time to get used to the car. After a nice run around and giving Alex a list of stuff he agreed to sort before collection, I decided to put down a deposit and was asked if I could give them a few days to sort the little issues. I had no issue with that at all. Just before leaving I was given another quick tour round the car to make sure I hadnt missed anything or if it needed any more work, but all was good. Those few days passed and now car yet, however there was a slight bit of an issue with some stubborn trim, but upon calling I wasnt fobbed off and was asked to give them an extra day to sort it. I was honestly fine with that. After that I went to pick up the car and had a good chat about after-care, the extended warranty and everything else. I decided not to take that out then but the option was left open few a few days after signing everything. They even went the extra mile to sort out the road tax there and then, and even let me stay around whilst I sorted the insurance out. Fast forward a few weeks and the car is running like a dream, no issues at all, and its saving a fair bit in running costs too. Plus it has some extra goodies that I didnt know about either. And the cherry on top, a log book that didnt take months to arrive. As for the whole experience I was impressed from start to finish, no pressure sales and even the reassurance of a final once over before agreeing to the sale. They were professional throughout everything and made me feel comfortable right from the start. When its time for an upgrade or change, I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

Bought my first car from here about a month ago. The car runs like a dream and have had 0 problems. Alex was very helpful throughout the buying process, he sorted out the road tax there and then with me and was more than happy to let me stay and use their facilities whilst I sorted out my insurance. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be returning here when it comes to purchasing a new car.

Extremely disappointed with this dealer. Wasted a 200 mile plus round trip and fuel on viewing an Audi A3 that was not as described. Found Alexs telephone mannerism very shocking and abrupt / an inconvenience to him having to answer any questions. The advert clearly stated the vehicle has factory DAB radio installed, only to find out that this was false. Alexs reaction was that we SHOULD HAVE confirmed this with him prior to coming over even though the advert he had created clearly states it. This information can be edited but they did not take the time or effort to do this but are happy to waste other peoples time. Basing the attitude of Alex on the initial phone call I highly doubt he would have physically gone to confirm this extra but would have told us to refer to the advert for any information we required. This aside, the vehicle had no fuel in (red), service due light was on and the key battery was dead and showing a fault on the dashboard. On inspection we also found the head gasket is on its way out. Overall experience was terrible, the site was like a building site with other businesses carrying out heavy construction. We did see their other vehicles with BCA auction stickers still on and this particular A3 had outstanding stocking finance showing. Make what you will of this. A prime example of an independent dealer trying to duplicate the experience of a main dealer, but are shocking terrible. No doubt they will try and respond to paint themselves in a better picture but as I have lost a full day & money based on their poor customer experiences and products. 1 star.
