I am desperately sad to say that since Steve retired, and the new owner has taken over, the quality of the meat has gone down. We spend, on average, around 100.00 every two months on minced beef steak and minced lamb steaks along with a couple of legs of lamb and a few lamb steaks. The last order we received, the minced lamb steaks were predominantly fat and very poor quality meat. If our next order is as poor, it will be returned and I will have to seek out a butcher who can provide meat of a better quality. My wife and I have been customers for over ten years, and are sad to see the decline in the standard of product sold here.

Me and the wife were in Conisborough and I googled for a local family butchers we ended up at Garrisons and I bought a steak and ale pie some sausage rolls and some lamb chops. Had the pie with some homemade chips and peas and have to say its probably the best Ive ever had. The sausage rolls were extremely tasty and didnt last long in our house. Super quality homemade pies and rolls off the scale Defo 5 Butchers Not be long before Im back

My Partner George Hoult went for the fist time today, staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is second to non. Very good quality meat. Will go again.
