Great experience in terms of the treatment, service and friendliness, would definitely recommend on this aspect. However we did not appreciate the very outdated, incorrect and potentially damaging sleep training style 'advice' around leaving my baby to cry, 'creating a rod for my own back', and 'he needs to learn to self sooth'. I think on this aspect stick to the profession in hand or gain further up to date knowledge and experience on this area before providing any sort of advice. Luckily I know enough on this topic to completely ignore such unwarranted 'advice', but worry others may not.

Luckily I haven't needed the services of the practice for several years until recently. I was so impressed by the friendliness and efficiency especially from Sue and osteopath Fiona. They made the experience almost enjoyable! Professional through and through, particularly with covid regulations. 5 stars.

Couldnt recommend enough! First of all Sue on reception in so helpful and polite, we had to rearrange an appointment pretty last minute and she was so understanding and helpful in making us another one. Second of all their safety regulations re covid are superb. Everything is clean and they are very thorough in hand washing etc. But third and finally is Anne who helped our newborn son so much. In just three sessions he was able to latch properly on the right side which he had a lot of trouble with, he was able to burp by himself and she really helped sort out his gas and toilet troubles to the point where we could take him off the Infacol. She really understands and listens but most importantly she explains WHY these problems were occurring in the first place and what shes doing to help. She is so friendly and open and made myself, my husband and my 8 week old son so so comfortable (he even fell asleep!) Thank you all so much. Will definitely be recommending to anyone having troubles with their babies from now on!

In June 2021 I started to suffer with vertigo and a sudden onset of constant dizziness. I was a healthy and active 39 year old man who enjoyed hiking, cycling etc. I was unable to drive, walk without a stick and was dizzy 24/7. For 2 months I had to lay down most of the day and was housebound. During this time I had ongoing tests, an MRI for a possible brain tumour as well as a massive amount of anxiety as the doctors, nurses and specialist had no idea what was wrong with me. I was completely disabled, depressed and thought my life was over. I couldnt even stand some days. My children were upset that I couldnt play with them anymore and I honestly thought that I was going to die at some points of the journey. As part of my struggle with the NHS and their slow pace I spent most of my time doing research into the possible causes of my dizziness and found out that one possibility was that I could be having issues with my neck. I booked an appointment with the friendliest of staff and was treated with such warm and loving care and attention from day 1. This was a big difference from the lack of support from most of the experience I had with the NHS. I was booked in for an incredibly affordable appointment and had the opportunity to explain what my symptoms were before we got straight into an assessment and some adjustments to my neck. After the first session I felt a little sick which was expected but I also immediately was able to sleep again, something I hadnt done in months. The next day I began to experience pockets of time without dizziness. Something was working. The next week I attended my second appointment and was greeted again with the same warm and friendly care and attention. After my second appointment I didnt feel sick at all and after thanking the staff and paying for my treatment I left and noticed it was raining. I ran to my car before stopping and saying to myself Dude! You just ran!!!!!!. I got a lift home and noticed immediately that the dizziness had gone!!!!!! Not only that but I had also been suffering from awful abdominal pains during the last 2 months and guess what!! That had gone too!. Over the last two weeks I have hiked daily for 5k and cycled 10k on one occasion. I can drive again and just drove my Campervan to the Peak District and hiked 10 miles with a climb up a hill! Unbelievable. 9 months with no clue what was wrong by the NHS verses less than 1 hour of treatment at the Osteopath. I cant thank you enough for giving me my life back! Thanks guys I owe you big time.
