You ask them if there is Government funded training in a sector, which has been badly impacted by a lack of employees... They say, 'Oh, I don't think there is any'. - Next day after intensive googling I found that there has been Gov. funded training almost 2 years all over the country ! Such a wasted time and causes desperation almost every time, when you have to walk in to the Jobcentre...

Staff at the front desks look at you as though youre beneath them when you walk in. Not sure if theyve been instructed to behave antisocially towards jobseekers, but its the job seekers who will be paying their wages when they find work. For those who cant find work, for whatever reason, being frowned upon by the very people who should be helping/supporting seems totally unethical, counterintuitive, and a waste of public funds.
