We can only review based on our own experiences but in my case I can honestly say that I (and my husband) have had excellent care whilst being registered patients at Lawton House since 2017. Yes, it can sometimes mean waiting a short time to get through on the phone but the queue was much much longer at our previous surgery and overall satisfaction with staff there was much much less and that was in times well before Covid! Reception staff at Lawton House have always been really helpful when I have contacted them and can only do what they can within available capacity to offer appointments, given the pandemic emergency pressures - I believe Lawton House is doing its upmost to meet massive patient demand in very challenging times. As a now retired NHS professional I recognise when staff are working hard and doing their best to deliver a good standard of care, despite multiple pressures from all directions. Recently I developed worrying cardiac and other symptoms requiring urgent referral and investigation and both Dr Coulthard initially and later Dr Rigby responded with superb care and attention to get me sorted, with Dr Rigby working late to cover a colleague's absence as well as dealing with me and his own caseload. I am very grateful to the staff of Lawton House.
