        Weve stayed at Middlemist as a family three times now with our young children, teenagers, grandparents and friends. Our 7 year old calls it our Devon heaven. We all love it so so much. The space, grandeur, how cosy the lounge is, the incredible bedrooms - especially the one with the mezzanine balcony! We love staying at Middlemist in the winter, when we can snuggle up beside the log fire and enjoy winter walks in the grounds. We love staying in the summer, when we can do the stunning walk down to the beach. We were there for the August bank holiday last year and on a beautiful sunny day, we had the beach completely to ourselves - which is unheard of in the UK! Its our favourite holiday place and we are looking forward to many, many more visits!
