My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dower House Hotel, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by our hosts Neil and Rosemary. They made sure that we felt comfortable and at home throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with chic and elegant finishes that create a luxurious atmosphere. We appreciated the use of the pool during our stay. The bedding was also top-notch, and we had our best night's sleep in months. We were especially impressed by the helpful recommendations from the staff on local attractions and activities. They even made a dinner reservation for us in Lyme Regis which was fantastic. The food and atmosphere were both wonderful, and we would not have known about it without their suggestion. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay at the Dower House Hotel, and we cannot wait to come back and spend more time here in the future. Thank you to Neil, Rosemary, and the entire staff for making our stay so wonderful. 5/5 stars. The Stewart Family

Easter Sunday for 3 nights. As already highlighted in my TA Review, absolutely Fab-Ew-Lous! The Anning Room( 1 of the 6/9 dog friendly rooms)was grreeatt ,with it's doors opening directly onto the heated outdoor pool. The paddock, which is available to exercise your pooch is a huge plus, however it should be noted that the owners 3 dogs ( Great Danes), have priority in using the paddock, which shouldn't be a problem as there is plenty of time in your day to access it & all the outside area is dog friendly . Neil, Rosemarie & their trusted, friendly team compliment each other . We will definitely return ( probably without our hounds), thus allowing us to stay in the sumptuously appointed French Lieutenant Room .. ps: all the rooms ooze style.. Rooms: All stylishly decorated

My Husband and I stayed at The Dower House twice last year, and will be looking to book again soon. Rosemarie and Neil were excellent hosts and the staff with them, so friendly and welcoming. We felt really comfortable, like we were at a home from home. We have a little Cockapoo and we vowed we would never go away in the UK without him, so to find somewhere as luxurious as The Dower House that are dog friendly was just a breath of fresh air to us. The rooms were lovely, very clean and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious, we even had a little bowl of sausage chopped up for our Cockapoo Rupert. He also loved having a few barks at the Great Danes in the pen, he wanted to go and play but he thinks hes bigger than he is sometimes. Thanks for our lovely stays last year, we will be sure to look at booking again in the near future. Charlotte, John & Rupert
