Attended a party here. The food was a delicious 3 course meal. The bar I thought was a bit steep (but it has been a while since I fell over. The only thing I did not like was not much lighting outside the location has deep water and a carpark you cannot see were your going when it gets dark and this was very dangerous with some of our party wearing heels

Period Mill now sensitively converted to a Hotel set in well landscaped attractive grounds. The Room I was in was very clean and well maintained although the shower was weak. Small double room with a large bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, water provided, a hairdryer, and small smart T.V. an Iron can be borrowed from reception. Staff very helpful and friendly. There is small bar and restaurant, and a large function room. I attended an evening function and stayed over. The only let down was the food provided at the function, which was like warm by the time we managed to get it due to a long queue and not what I would have expected. Having said that there was a large choice for breakfast and the full English was one of the best I have had.
