A bit expensive and not really confidential. Under privacy and confidentiality rules, Boots Combe Martin staff shouldn't be asking patients to state their name and address in front of other customers. Under its new local management, customers and patients are finally being treated with dignity and respect at this branch. But patient confidentiality needs to improve.

Like most pharmacies, patients are just a number here, and Boots confidentiality practice needs to improve in line with the DPA and GPDR. Pharmacy shop assistants -everywhere - seem to learn the question "what address is it?", parrot fashion, and cannot ask anything else. Acceptable ID should suffice, anywhere. It is neither confidential or professional conduct to broadcast patient information in public. Otherwise, under the new management here, locals (who are also patients) have seen some slight improvements in Boots Combe Martin.
