My Hinterland

Working with Adam has been an absolute pleasure. Sharing ideas has been easy and fun. Actually, I bless the day he was recommended to me to build a Shepherds Hut on my small vineyard in East Devon. Adams range of skills are exactly what my project needed from the ground works preparing the site for the hut to the fine details of the build. The challenge was to construct a Shepherds Hut completely off grid using solar power composting loo and harvesting water on a tricky sloping site within the vineyard. Though not yet fully complete (due to Coronavirus hold ups) what is emerging is a beautiful and comfortable Shepherds Hut clad in Larch and sitting so well in its environment. I couldnt be more pleased and excited. Its been thoughtfully planned and executed to a very high standard. He also undertook some necessary tree surgery and replacement of boundary fencing. As well as his creativity and good work ethic Adam is rooted in the rural community of Devon and is knowledgeable and well connected to local industries, able to secure equipment and assistance where necessary. All this has made the project easy and enjoyable for me. I look forward to using his services again in the future and recommend him without hesitation to anyone with a bespoke project that needs a quality result.

We are a not for profit volunteer based organisation and work with Adam from time to time on a partnership basis, using his skills and contacts and jointly combining resources to undertake projects. We recently combined to extract some large Ash Trees from an estate in East Devon where our members combined to help clear a site organised and run by Adam in return for a share of the resulting timber. Its a great case of small companies combining with the community for our joint benefit.
