London Photographic are providing fantastic photography workshops catering for every photography style. I always have a great time and go away having learnt so much. The workshops are very well structured; a short tutorial followed by a range of assignments, perfect for beginners or the more experienced photographer. Alex and Jane are very nurturing and encouraging and no question is too small. Participant numbers are always low enough to allow for plenty of 1-2-1 support. 10 out of 10 every time!

Having been a member of this community since 2017 and done a whopping 65 Meetups (time flies!), I can honestly say that I've learned so much from Alex and Jane in a range of genres and my photography is much better for their input, advice and challenge. I wholeheartedly recommend all of their workshops no matter what stage of learning you are at. Beginners will find the Out of Auto or Mastering Manual workshops really helpful and if you want to develop as a landscape photographer, the Fine Art Long Exposure session will give you a great start in understanding how to use filters. The more technically advanced workshops will help to develop your skills and the creative ones will challenge the way you think about and 'see' the environment around you. When you're done shooting, there is help with the mysteries of Photoshop to fine tune your work. Tuition is always well planned and researched and if you still need some extra help, you'll always be given time and guidance individually. In addition, there is a 'photo of the month' prize up for grabs if you upload your workshop pictures to Meetup. Most importantly, you will get to meet a lot of like-minded people with whom you can share ideas and experiences, either in person or online.

I have been a member of this community for a while. The workshops are always well planned and delivered. There are many workshops for various levels of ability and help is always on hand. Tasks are aimed at developing and practising skills in a variety of settings and give you an opportunity to meet others in a friendly and supportive environment. There are several visits overseas as well as easy to access central meet ups in London and surrounding areas. I highly recommend a night photography, macro and filter workshop for everyone. Alex and Jane are super encouraging and the groups are often full of familiar faces. See London in a different light. Also remember to upload your photos after the workshop to be entered into the photo of the month competition.

I have been a member of meet-up for a couple of years and most of my photography courses have been via London Photographic. I recommend them to any of my friends who are interested in improving their photography because they (and the people who are their students) are friendly, approachable and keen to share their experiences. The lessons are delivered in easily digestible 'nuggets' which gives you the chance to digest the knowledge, before progressing to the next stage or topic. Recently, I was 'volunteered' by a friend to shoot portraits for a magazine. This is not my favourite type of photography, so in order not to disgrace myself I asked Alex and Jane for a one-to-one private afternoon's lesson to get me up to speed in techniques needed. This proved invaluable! All in all, I really look forward to the meet-up sessions and I learn something new each time!
