        We had a short break in the Lake District travelled from Grimsby, Lincolnshire and found this little gem by searching local eateries, absolutely gorgeous fresh cooked food, service was perfect and the staff are superb, we are foodies and this is absolutely top class cooking We Booked to go back the following evening immediately on tasting the food

        Stopped in here for a quick drink on a nice Tuesday lunchtime in late April. Very impressed. Looks like it's been recently refurbished, good choice of beer and seemed to be serving some very nice food. There's an outdoor seating area slightly elevated from the minor road that passes through the small village. Delightful.
