Rookhow Quaker Meeting House & Bunkbarn

We had a fantastic weekend at Rookhow. We were 7 families comfortably spread across the meeting house and bunkbarn for sleeping. The main kitchen was really well equipped, loads of wood for the woodburners which kept the communal areas well heated. We barely scratched the surface of the incredible 12 acres of woodland surrounding the buildings, but the kids had a brilliant time making dens, building fires (with supervision!), and having wild adventures. We will be back!!

An incredibly beautiful location. I was here for training and it was a wonderful and relaxing setting with the meeting house and woodland. I can't wait to come back! Nearby activities: Lots to explore in the area and some good pubs too.

We were a group of 18 aged between 5 and 76. Every single one of us had a fantastic weekend. Brilliant facilities, great location. We loved it so much that we re-booked straightaway. Our family group have used a number of group boarding facilities over the years and Rookhow has proved to be the best.
