        I cannot emphasise enough how important it is that you make a trip here to sample the delicious cakes & bakes! They are absolutely phenomenal and a delicious treat for any weekend, The hut serves all manner of baked goods and sweet treats along with hot and cold drinks, there is ample parking and picnic benches to sit out and enjoy the Cumbrian countryside too. Make a visit this week, you won't be disappointed!

        What a little gem I discovered on my recent walk. I am so glad I came by. It's just the thing you need after a walk. Hot or cold drinks and so much choice of cakes and tray bakes and other sweet things. So yummy

        Brilliant! The only problem with this is they aren't open every day. They sell a delicious selection of cakes and slices, alongside Lakeland ice cream tubs, dog ice cream, chilled and hot drinks. There are benches on a pretty mown lawn, with lovely views along part of the Cumbria Way. Take a few extra pounds and treat yourself to a dozen fresh farm eggs, yum!
