Oh dear. Despite my first time there being one of my best chips and battered sausage I've ever had, today was my second time that I tried this Fish&Chips. Unfortunately today my chips were soft, soggy, greasy and quite awful. My battered sausage tasted nothing like batter nor sausage. It tasted like burned batter and even the texture was disgusting I had to throw it away in the end after trying it with a bite or two. Couldn't eat it for how bad it was despite me trying to. Portion size is great but overall I'm very disappointed with the quality of my meal. Might have been a bad day but from the latest reviews it looks to me like they are on a consistently bad phase. I really do hope they will use this feedback to improve their standards again and give me the same great chips I had the first time around. They were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS back then. Edit in response to the owner's reply: I suspected it was due to new season and that's why I gave 2 stars rather than 1. But felt quite disappointed with the battered sausage too as I already said it tasted burned and nothing like a battered sausage at all. I am still happy to give you another try though later on in a better season for chips. Thanks for your reply anyway
