We went to the store today with three residents from Barchester Care queens court Wimbledon on a shopping trip. The store was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful in directing and assisting to find the items in store. I was particularly impressed by the level of service received today from the cafeteria. There was a very long queue as it was lunch time and we wanted to treat our residents with a hot cup of coffee. I approached Brenda who was behind the counter and explained that we had limited time to get coffee for the residents as they needed to head back for their lunch. Brenda and Rhoda arranged for the coffee to be served before one of our carer got to the till to make a payment. It was a pleasant to learn that Brenda, Rhoda and Paulette went beyond expectation and showed a caring nature towards the elderly residents. Cafe review - Always run out of children's food. Never have the pizzas or ham sandwiches. Never have the avocado for the jacket potatoes. I come because it is convenient but need to learn and not come again and have disappointed kids over and over. You need to get your act together M&S. Oh, and it's not even 1pm so not even late in the day.
