Food wasnt bad, nothing to get excited about but was nice when it eventually arrived. Thats about as good as it gets unfortunately- the service was bad, we waited for about 25 minutes before our drinks arrived and well over an hour for food which just isnt acceptable. There were a lot of staff but you couldnt tell who was who, the only Indication they worked there was the time they spent standing and chatting at the front. All in all, wont be returning anytime soon- theres a lot of local pubs with the same concept offering a better service

Oh dear, what can I say! Waited over 15 minutes to get our first drink! Waited 1hr 30mins for food. While waiting for our food, they came to apologise, at which point I suggested that they gave us a drink to compensate. They agreed, however, waited another 10mins for the drinks to arrive! Eventually, the food arrived, apart from the side dish we ordered. That turned up 5 minutes later! I did complain, and the manager gave us a further discount. I would have been happy if I had been told that there was a wait. Unfortunately, this was not so! Waiting over 1hr 30mins is not acceptable for food service and waiting over 10mins for drinks is also not great! Don't think we will be back again!

Disappointing roast, usually really good but this Sunday I think some corners were cut. Gravy very fatty and watery, one piece of chicken tasted like it had been reheated and potatoes lacking in flavour. Think kitchen were over extended.

I have been to the Woodhouse several times and my visit yesterday was a sham by the time the food came it was luke warm had to wait ages for drinks the waitress was rushed off her feet as there was no staff and then to top it up the waitress spilled my drink over me not impressed the place has gone down hill complained to the manager who clearly wasnt bothered and didnt care wont be going back there such a shame as it used to be a good place to go for food and service not anymore !
