Delightful Dulwich Wood Dental. I had the pleasure of visiting this dental surgery recently, and it really was a pleasure. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was seen by Sheilah who is knowledgeable, careful and diligent. As a nervous patient, I find she is very kind and patience, and this really does make all the difference to me. I travel 215 miles to visit this dental surgery, it's the best I've found, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I am even looking forward to my next visit! 100% recommended.

I was recommended to Dulwich Wood Dental by a member of my family. The pleasant surroundings of the surgery and the professionalism of the team immediately put me at ease. The dentist I saw, Sheilah Owen, was very attentive and gentle, having recognised that I can be a rather nervous patient! I now have no hesitations in returning for my next check-up.

So first things first the receptionist was amazing; definitely one of the best I had ever dealt with extremely polite and helpful. I found that the practice was very clean and a overall good space. I was here to get composite bonding. So I found that the procedure was not really explained to me and I had to ask all the questions myself. There was no explanation of aftercare or a leaflet of any kind. I had questions I asked whilst there but I do think there needs to be a much more thorough explanation of what I can and cant do. I think patients should really be explained these kinds of things thoroughly as I wont think of all my questions whilst there. The dentist who performed my procedure was very skilled and she was generally answering my questions but I have left feeling a bit lost. I also felt that the dental assistant was quite frustrating, she was very rough with the equipment in my mouth. Furthermore she was letting dribble come out would try to pat it but not properly clean it which was really frustrating and demeaning as I couldnt do it myself. Overall it wasnt a bad experience but I think aftercare and the procedure should be better explained and the assistant could have been a bit more aware of certain things. The procure was done well but something like a leaflet really needs to be given to patients, I hope this is something that will be acknowledged in the future. The highlight for me was the kindness of the receptionist.
