Lovely clean peaceful pub. Very welcoming also good value for money. The garden is also lovely.

Pleasant pub with good food and very friendly staff. The steak pie, the chef informed us, was made to her mum's recipe and was excellent. The staff were really engaging and friendly, taking the time to speak to us and really added to the experience. Although it was very busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon, I'm told that it is normally not as packed. It might be worth calling ahead at busy times to check availability this

Pretty busy considering it was Tuesday but they accommodated us despite not having booked. Good choice of menus, light, standard mains and specials. Hot well cooked full plates. Attentive and very friendly staff.
