The Acorns Holiday Let

We stayed here this week having left today. This is a lovely little cottage in a out of the way location. Good facilities with two bathrooms, has central heating, nice kitchen with dishwasher, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, double bedroom and a single with bunk beds. TV with Sky was a nice addition. The hot tub is fantastic. Sarah and Ryan are brilliant hosts and live next door to the cottage, both are very friendly and opened with if we had any problems just to knock and let them know and they would fix. The cottage has a nice layout and was clean and tidy on arrival. The heating is very good, beds comfortable and the WiFi provided is fast. There is a comment on another review regarding access and the state of the road.....from the entrance up to the accommodation the road and access is fine. The public road leading up to this is bumpy with some pot holes, however this is a public, county lane and cannot be the responsibility of the accommodation providers. All in all a lovely stay and we will plan to rebook next year. Thanks Sarah and Ryan

We rented this cottage because of it's location as we needed to be near family for a family wedding. Quiet location down lane but within 5 min walking distance to a great pub. Communication during booking was great and access was easy ( as owners live next door). We decided we could only give 3 stars because the access through the farm really needs a tidy up, out door furniture dirty and/or broken - this really does not give a good first impression. But mainly the cottage, especially the kitchen, needs a darn good clean! Especially kitchen utensils. Other than that location great.
