Heavily restored by Woodyer in 1870, who added the odd top stage on the otherwise grim 12th century tower. Good Victorian glass, and a superb Byzantine-style icon of the patron saint. Woodyer's north arcade is interesting, lacking capitals. Most visitors come to see the very old yew tree, round the back and possibly the oldest in Sussex.
