I went here for my birthday on the week they were closing. The service was very attentive and the food was succulent. I also appreciated the extra effort they made for my special day. I hope they find a new spot soon.

Was very much looking forward to this meal and heard a lot of good things about the spot. Was the first time trying Nigerian food. It is a set menu. Which comes with starters (you dont get to choose) and a choice of 4 main courses. The starters were mixed. The salad was super small. One would expect a large bowl of salad rather than a super small plate. The goat cigar was very good and was the best starter offered. For mains we chose the fish, chicken and courgette. All dishes were super small. The fish was nice and sauce was tasty. But small in size. The chicken was 3 small pieces. Expected half a chicken at the price you pay The desert was decent - the guava sorbet was nice. Honestly I dont get the hype of Chishuru. It was overpriced (48 each) and the dishes were small. For Brixton I expect to get more for your money. This is what you would pay for a top end restaurant in Central London.

This was the best meal I have had in London. The service was warm, ambiance and playlist were spot on. And then there was the food! The prefix menu was the perfect amount of food and the arc of the meal made sense. The textures and contrast were thoughtful. The acidity and salt was perfectly balanced. The meal was exciting and new to me while feeling comfortable and familiar at the same time. Many thanks to all who made it happen.

This is probably the BEST food I've had in London, whether you consider the price point (very affordable) or not. A "must eat" at every Londoner's or tourist's foodie bucket list! Bonus: accommodates both gluten- and dairy-free diets!
