Poetic Unity

Having recently completed the 5 session workshop on mental health, I would 100% recommend and encourage others to attend The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the other attendees were amazing. In such a short space of time we were able to learn, grow and hold space for each other and I personally benefited from this experience in ways. It was also nice to be introduced to different styles of poetry and explore my mental health through the lens and perspective of other mediums and other people I hold and recommend Poetic Unity in the highest possible regard

An amazing community of people with so much talent! The events held by Ragz the founder are always amazing, I would highly recommend to anyone interested in expressing creativity through spoken word/poems, wanting to be inspired or just to sit and soak it all up! Theres always great energy and its also a lovely opportunity to meet new people! Thanks Poetic Unity!

I stumbled upon Poetic Unity a few years ago when a friend brought me along to an event at the Black Cultural Archives. But I really feel in love with the charity during lockdown. The Instagram live poetry workshops have been a saving grace. Allowing me to express my thoughts and feelings though prose and sharing it with others has been extremely cathartic. Thank you for providing this safe space.

Great Poetry community! Feels like a home away from home. Really helped me through lock down. With events and workshops that have helped me express myself in a way that I would not have got to do over lock down. I can't wait for the events to start up again in 2021
