Best Chinese take out I have ever had. No other in or around Eltham that beats this place. Have been ordering from here for over 3 years now.

I have eaten at maybe over 20 different chinese take away's during my time in London. When I moved here 2 years ago this was the only chinese take-away so had no choice than give it a try. Prices were on the cheap side, noodle portions were good, meat and see food portions were small but correct. Food was ready quick (15mn) and they would keep it in delivery bags so it stays warm until you pick it up. I'd give it a 7/10 then. So all in all this was good value for money and I have ordered there maybe twice a month ever since. Now over those two years prices have gone up by an incredible 30%. I don't know about you but my salary certainly hasn't! I only have the last two menus (picture attached) where prices went up 18% average. To top it all, my last order was one of the worst chinese take-away I've ever had. So, not only was I surpised to pay 29,80 instead of the 25,80 I was expecting (new prices) but also the food was tasteless and portions as much down as prices were up. Detail: pat on the sesame prawn toast was almost inexistant and the whole thing only tasted of oil. Veg rolls were empty and again tasted only of oil. Chow mein containers were not full and the spycy crisp squid was 8 pieces in a box full of onions. At 7,80 that's a pound a piece! Service still as effective as ever was the only positive really... I'm really disappointed. This place in my opinion has gone from a 7/10 to a weak 4. I'm sad I'm gonna have to find a new one and scrap this one which was walking distance from me.
