I have an rspca rescue dog for past 12 years who became poorly suddenly. I'm on a low income and receive tax credits.when I asked for help they didn't want to know as I'm not in receipt of housing benefit. Had to borrow money to get her to a local vet who was much more helpful. I really thought the RSPCA was animal lovers, how wrong was I.
