        Colchester Arts: possibly the greatest small live music venue in East Anglia! Set in an uber-characterful redundant church it just oozes charm! That and the bar stays open all thru the gig so u can keep sneaking up for another San Miguel: yay!The toilets are architecturally beautiful - u simply must go for a pee just to have a look. Saw Wishbone Ash - brilliant throw-back to my hippy youth. Enjoyed it! Previously on a Martin Newell gig saw a guest appearance of Kimberley Rew of Katrina and the Waves and he did Going down to Liverpool. Awesome - deffo a "we're not worthy!" moment. Go to Colchester Arts... you'll love it!

        It's a great venue now it has had some major refurbishment. Possibly the best toilets in the UK, and the most artistic. The sound system is capable of great results. All in all, a great venue for artist and audience alike. You cannot use cash at the bar. Nothing has changed
