Colchester Round Table has been a great fun part of my personal & professional life. I have made some great friends, travelled across Europe - experiencing many different cultures & helped the local community with fundraising & contributing to others in the Colchester area. I have learnt new skills, experienced running a local community group & interacted with thousands of local people during events - such as the Colchester Carnival. The Colchester Round Table is a great way to meet like-minded individuals. It's has been a pleasure to be a part of some of their community projects. I highly recommend getting involved if you enjoy meeting new friends and giving something back to your community.

When I moved to Colchester I found it hard to make friends locally. Whilst I kept in touch with my old friends I missed being able to catch up with a group of mates on a Friday night. Then someone suggested Colchester Round Table 367 and I haven't looked back. I've done things I would never have tried before and met some people who I would regard as friends for life. So my advice would be to come along and give it a try. What's too lose?

Colchester Round Table is a great way to meet people, try new things and get involved with the local community. The group is made up of like-minded people, who meet up regularly for social activities such as meeting for a beer, going for a curry, gliding, canoeing and climbing. We get to do the kinds of things that are difficult to do with just a few mates, but are possible with 12. Colchester Round Table is also a registered charity and raises money to benefit good causes in and around Colchester. This is done largely through community-focussed fund raising via events such as the hugely popular Colchester Carnival, which the group runs. I highly recommend getting involved if you like getting out in the evenings, meeting new people and helping out your local community.
