Had the loveliest afternoon tea here this afternoon for my mum's birthday, gorgeous selection of sandwiches, loads of cake and 4 scones! With tiptree jam and proper clotted cream! We went for prosecco afternoon tea and we're given a very generous glass of lovely bubbly each. Gorgeous setting and amazingly friendly staff but what was most incredible was they brought my mum a brownie on a plate with "happy birthday" written on in chocolate, it looked amazing! I didn't request this I simply told them it was for her birthday and they did such this lovely thing she was so so happy so thank you tymperlys! Would highly recommended

Nice ambience to have lunch in a heritage place (used to be a stewards house of Duke of Norwich), and nice food!

Booked a table for 3 for Mothers Day back at the end on February to ensure a good table, only to arrive and be seated at a table for 3 facing the wall... when I questioned the seating we were told with attitude that was the only table available which I found surprising as I booked so far in advance. (And we were the first ones in there so far) We then asked if there was a kids menu for our 4 year old and again with attitude our waitress said she would see if the kids menu was available today. We were not impressed with the seating, service or menu (pricier than average) which didn't reflect the experience we were expecting so we left and went to Cafe 21 where the service and food was impeccable and at a much more reasonable price. Very disappointed. Wouldn't go back again.
