Not great to be honest. Smiles are easy but respecting individual needs and dignity require a lot more. The Home has plenty of smiles and nice people working there but the care is not proactive and barely reactive. Adaptation and respect towards individual resident's ever changing needs in our view fell far short of acceptable. Having spent several years visiting regularly and often at times when visitors were not normally there I witnessed a culture which appeared to care more for the convenience and strict times allocated to care tasks than the individual need of a resident. Staff allocated time with each resident was to short to be dignified and caring unless additional 1 to 1 was allocated to prevent risk of falling. Staff not monitored regarding agreed changes to care plans of a resident and staff would claim not to be aware of such changes. There appeared no commitment or insight into meeting individual needs. Failings in staff meeting those care needs were not observed or addressed by those appointed to manage and any observations regarding improvements or changes needed nearly always came from families.

I was surprised to read the previous review as my aunty has been in the home for 2yrs in April and as a resident she has got nothing but good to say about the home. My aunty has all her mental faculties but sadly has difficult with her mobility therefore she is fully aware of all what goes on around her. As a family visiting my aunty we too have found the home to be very welcoming. It is clean food is good and the staff work hard and are very personable. Nothing is too much. We've attended great events there. It's great seeing everyone enjoying them. I, my family and more importantly my aunty who lives in the home would fully recommend it. It's a homely home. Attended Foxburrow Grange on 27/2/2019. Great facilities including a large cinema room for residents and lovely, inviting outside areas. All staff were friendly and welcomed us with big smiles . Thanks for making the visit so enjoyable! Very proud to have Outlook Care as members and part of the Altura Learning community.
