I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Paul through an insurance claim. Poor service, multiple faults and failure to remember factual details and made multiple errors along the way. Between Auto Accident Claims Limited and Paul at Richardson's I had to wait 5 months to get a simple insurance claim resolved. Paul was unable to organise a courtesy car with 5 months notice, unable to organise the vehicle to be returned to my address on completion after collecting my car from my property originally. Very poor service with a catalogue of errors. Service: Body & Trim

Be warned. Richardsons took our car on as an insurance repair. They assessed the car by photos. They advised us that the repair would be done in a week unless they find further damage then a month for the readon of national part shortages. We were prepared for this. It took us 9 WEEKS to get our car back. Richardsons policy is to take the car first. THEN order parts. We phoned regularly for updates. One minute we are told its in for spraying now. Then waiting on parts. Then we have parts. Then waiting on parts. Most the time they did not return calls. Towards the end of this nightmare our insurance company had informed us that the claim was now closed. Which means that Richardsons must have completed the work to be paid out. But we still didnt get our car back for a few more days. Which they deny. And even then they charged us 50 over our excess. Which I xan only surmise was for admin. We feel we were messed about and palmed off on more than one occasion. Really they should have looked the car over in person. Assesed what was needed. And then booked us in when they were actually capable of repairing it. It should have been a red flag when Paul told me at the very beginning that its their policy to take the car in incase a customer goes elsewhere whilst waiting on parts/repair. To avoid this they should take a deposit instead of holding peoples cars for weeks on end. I cannot fault the actual end result of the repair. But it is a terrible service and I will never use them again. I do not recommend them at all

Checked out the steering lock and as no fault was found there was no charge. The receptionist and mechanic were vary helpful.
