St John's Multi-Storey Car Park

Utter disgust at coming into work in the City today to discover St Johns car park have increased their daily parking rate from 4 per day to 12 per day (without any notice) Working & parking in the "City" is now totally unaffordable. ALL of the car parks have increased their prices. I never make complaints usually, but I am quite astounded with this rise. Surely the Council should be encouraging people to come into the City, not put them off by hiking up prices. I would gladly use the bus but the bus times do not work for me. Its an absolute joke, and yes I've complained to the Council too. Not the Car Parks fault, but also putting up with the stench of urine everyday isn't very appealing either. Council really need to do more. NO STARS

They have raised the price from 4 to 12 for the day - absolutely disgusting. Not sure where people that work in town are going to park now.

We returned to the car park at 19:30 after eating out on a freezing, rainy and windy night and the complex was closed. I called taxi company after taxi company - all of which had no cars - while being harassed for cigarettes by homeless people and drunks staggering around St John's Walk. We paid 45 in taxis to get to our hotel and then back to the city the next morning to have to pay an overnight charge at this facility. Overall, this totally spoiled our weekend and put us out 60+ plus a good few hours, not including the stress of it all.
