We recently had work carried out in our new house by Paul and his colleague John and are happy with the results and honesty of work. Hard working guys. When we moved in, we found our heating needs were not matching what the system could give out. We had engineers come out giving quotes of up to 10k, telling us things like boiler would need replacing with new pipework going under the floorboards and our cylinder was likely filled with plaque and so would need replacing. Very different approaches from all of them which was baffling. We decided to get a local quote instead and Paul was great. He told us everything was fine, the rads just needed replacing and the system needed to be flushed and balanced. It was still a heavy job with 14 radiators needing replacing but much more cost effective at a third of the price we were expecting! Instead of zoning we have gone with thermostatic valves as recommended by Paul and actually it does the job decently. Paul has also replaced the valve(?) to our cylinder and explained we shouldn't use the immersion heating like the previous owner had left it so it is handling our hot water output better - no more cold showers! Lots of good advice on thermostat settings too which was driving me up the wall. Finally, I would like to say thank you to Paul for dealing with my chaotic family. He was absolutely brilliant with them and patient answering their questions. Brilliant sense of humour. Would highly recommend, top notch guy. Thanks Paul
