Booked for a brake pad change, dropped off the car at 10.30am. Got a call 4 hours later saying that I needed new brakes, which is what they were told when I booked it in. I was told they were now too busy to complete today as they were flat out. I collect the car without work being completed to find 5 mechanics vaping and an empty garage. Really poor service.

I've been a customer for 20 years + but today my car battery died less than 20 meters from their shop. They wouldn't help me and left me stranded. Thanks a bunch, you've lost a loyal customer to your "computer says no" attitude

-EDITED- The customer care I have received from the Halfords customer review team has been amazing. Will be booking my car to get its tyres balanced at a Halfords garage instead. Bought a set of tyres for my car. A few months back. After I left the garage the car there was vibrations from the wheels. I took it down today to have the wheels balanced again as the wheel weights were not on a couple of my wheels. After getting home from the garage I checked and found the same wheel had not been balanced as there were still no weights. Spoke to the worker over the phone and was told that he didnt think it needed replacing after a visual inspection even though I had told him about the vibrations over 60mph and also he wanted to save time. Also excessive revving of my car between the garage and car park and had moved my sons toy onto the dashboard even though it was in the back of the car. Not a professional job and will not be bringing it back again.
