Hi....I have just had an appointment at the clinic and after reading some reviews, I must say I was quite apprehensive to go!....BUT the reception staff were lovely (in the Tollgate Centre) Also at the front reception as it was my first time there. They made me feel welcome and after seeing the consultant, who put me at my ease explaining everything, had to go back to reception who booked me in for an operation 5* treatment....Thankyou Kim Webster

Very good, very helpful, excellent care. Let down by the 2 NHS employees outside (I could see their ID's and lanyards) chain smoking in the car park.

Been with this surgery for 10 years now and just feels like every other time I interact with them it's a bad experience, it's currently under special measures and I am not surprised. It's difficult to just get them on the phone, and when you do they are not very helpful. All emergency appointments gone before 9am, they say I can request emergency contraception online and then you get a message that they won't prescribe it. They don't even ring to let me know, had to ring back to get the reason and they don't even suggest an alternative free service just say to go to the pharmacy (which is 30) and I have to ask for what other service providers would be able to help. That's not just unhelpful advice but also incorrect advice being given and when your under a time crunch it could have negative impacts. Luckily I got in touch with other service providers and they actually contradicted what my GP told me a few months before and will prescribe me the hormonal contraception I asked for. Never had a problem much before with the GP's (usually just the receptionists) but this took the bloody biscuit. If the GP had prescribed me the patch when I was 4 months postnatal I wouldn't be in the situation of now needing emergency contraception (condom breakage, don't judge) and there wasn't a reason for them not to prescribe it to me.
