My wife was very shaken up after the incident and got away lightly with some bruises where the airbags went off and seat belt grabbed her. Considering a 48 ton vehicle hitting a 1 ton vehicle from the rear and completely smashing it to pieces I think she was fortunate to walk away.
The driver seemed to have a dashcam but when police asked for footage he denied access. I wonder why he would do that?????????
