        I rang Elmstead Day Unit trying to get help regarding what my husband should do about stopping his medication before a minor op, (This is not even being done on their ward). The Sister I spoke to was very kind and helpful and gave me another number to call and went and told them I'd be calling. I rang the ward and a very nice lady spoke to another sister on the ward and called me back within 5 minutes with all the information I needed. This was all on a Friday evening when I couldn't get any help anywhere else. I am so grateful to the three kind nurses who went out of their way to help me. I'm just sorry I didn't get your names. So thank you very much, you saved me a lot of stress over the weekend.

        Absolutely brilliant experience at Elmstead ward yesterday incredibly efficient preparation for surgery. All nurses and porters kind and professional . Surgical and anaesthetic team attentive and informative . Post op tea and toast better than a 5 star hotel . Thanks to all for their caring service . Julie Robinson
