Definitely one of the best fishing shop in Colchester area, they selling live bait, Rick is amazing helpful guy, very friendly and profesional shop advisor ,Highly recommending this shop and all the best to you guys. Regards Sol and Ted

Under the same ownership as Elmstead angling this shop has improved 1000% over its previous management. Fantastic selection of bait and tackle on offer (clue is in the name) to both the Sea and fresh water angler alike. They dont stock just any old rubbish to make a buck, they only stock quality products that are familiar to the seasoned angler and what the novice should use starting out. (Buy the right gear, buy once) Super friendly advice without the hard sell. Access to a well known and respected rod builder, so if you have a misshap with a beloved rod, or you want a rod or set of rods custom built to your specifications then Phil can put you in touch. I highly recommend you visit this treasure trove of Colchester bait and tackle before you go online or to one of the big faceless retailers that don't seem to have the same staff two weeks running. See what Phil and his staff can offer you, even if it's just a bit of advice on where to fish and what tactics work best on that venue regardless of sea or fresh water. Good angling.
