        Love this place. Had a great visit, nice walk and it was wonderfully shady as it was so hot. Great choice to have a long walk, short walk and great facilities

        12.30 noon. 24th May 2022. At lunchtime today, I took a stroll around the Southern Slopes.Hopefully,I may spot the pair of Peregrine Falcons feeding in Highwoods Country Park.Suddenly,I saw a gentleman fell ten yards from me. He was in pain and called me.I approached him.The visitor requested for an ambulance to the Southern Slopes.Immediately,I dialled the emergency services on 999. I informed the Ambulance Services of the visitor's fall,and the approximate location.The visitor was conscious,speaking and his face colour was good.To assist me with the emergency call,the visitor also verified the What3Words location for the emergency services.This is helpful in a park.After the Ambulance call, I rang the Rangers Office and informed the staff of the injury and ambulance services.Thank you very much to the Rangers,volunteers,Visitors Centre staff,and the ambulance crew.Much appreciated.Not long to wait.I stayed with the visitor until the Rangers and Paramedics arrived.All is well.Just as the paramedics arrived, the heavens opened up.Thank you.
