What a waste of time! No updates, unreturned phone calls...

Was placed at Ceva in the Paint warehouse, had a few personnel problems with regards to illness to my wife and losing my mother in law during this covid crisis so had to take a few days off here and there, lost my position after not being able to get in due to a traffic accident on the A14 and being advised to go home by the Police officer on road duty. My main issue is I was made up to acting Team Leader by the on the shift before mine, ( even only been doing the job for a few weeks as he knew I was probably the right person to do the job) now having left I asked for Swanstaff to pay me the increase of my hourly rate due to fulfilling the TL roll. I then get told I'm not entitled to an increase as nobody in management had authorised me stepping up. I had at the beginning told the so called person at Swan that I was asked to fill the roll and was informed by him that I should be paid at a higher rate of pay due to having more responsibility, when submitting my timesheet to payroll asking them to increase my pay (no response from the 3 emails) if the payroll of my so called contact at Swan had informed me I wasn't going to be paid for the extra work I had to do I could then have said I wasn't prepared to do the job. I have more to say with the running of Ceva such as no First aiders and a lack of indication from them. And finally I have now found out that the so called Contract Manger was informed and had agreed to me stepping up to acting TL.
