The most shocking customer service in the NHS. I feel sorry for the HCP's involved as they mean well but their organisation massivley lets them down.

Just back from a pain seminar that had no refreshments in cold room where hard seats were the only option other than to stand. The people running the course were professional and nice. However, a lot of their advice was wrapped in modern double-speak and seemed factually questionable and rather recklessly took a broad brush approach to advice because of the 100 or so patients (sorry, "Service Users") there. Don't forget that you will be discharged and will struggle to any further NHS care if you don't sit through what is in effect a sales pitch for their workshops. One final thought. The Government wants all disabled people to work if possible and has cut entitlements to welfare payments to encourage it, but the workshops that will no doubt be of use to some? Weekdays 9-5 only.

Ace GP services are terrible I can't get a prescription or get through to the Surgery. Likewise getting through to the so called Hub is impossible with 30 to 40 minute waits. If they can't manage a phone or simple prescription service I shudder to think how clinical services operate .

Their management of GP services is appalling.. Impossible to get an appointment! The hub which is the access point for services is unfit for purpose and discriminates against those who cannot for whatever reason hold on the phone for long periods!
