I have been visiting the salon for three years now and I got to say that it all depends on the hairdresser you deal with rather than the salon.The staff is friendly and the products are good but at the end of the day that will make no difference if the end result is not satisfying. The two stars should have been one not just because my wishes were completely ignored but also because I lost 3 years of hair growth and ended up with sideburns and a thick mess of a fringe. I didn't just not get the fringe I described (and showed pictures of) but I just straight up got a bad haircut. I'll give the 2nd star for the other lovely members of staff who have no fault in this. Tried to give them another chance (although there wasn't much that could be done, or in this case, undone) and instead got an email back giving me the same excuses I received in the salon when voicing my concerns (hasn't been a fringe for a while, "needs to settle down"-although I did not see the extent of the damage at the time- she actually went into the hairline at my temples and ears, giving me what are essentially, blunt sideburns). I should have been worried when the staff informed me I was the last customer of the day. Could feel the impatience in that statement. I would be more forgiving had this not been such a bad job. I would say to go in if you were recommended a particular hairdresser rather than the salon. Later edit: I've had the fringe cut, or better said managed, twice since my appointment. There is nothing that can be done to address it at this point apart from growing out the hair again. It's much thicker on one side than the other and I still have sideburns. In light of that and the fact I did try to give the hairstylist another chance but had my very valid worries dismissed, I'm afraid I lost the trust I had. The fact the pictures I've posted of the hair with this review have disappeared also does not inspire a lot of trust. Had I had a response such at this one from the beginning I might still be a customer.

I had my first appointment with Shannon on Saturday following a consultation and skin test the week before, when we discussed what we would be doing and what I hoped to achieve. I had booked half a head of highlights with a cut and I'm really impressed the results! She did a lovely job, got the colour right to the roots and combined the bleach with the contrasting dark hair that I wanted to remain. My hair looked fabulous afterwards and I am quite picky, I'm not someone who is easily pleased so hats off to her. I used to have highlights but had gone back to my previous dark hair for a few years but I'm so glad I made the decision to go blonde again. I would recommend Shannon to anyone, she is friendly and really listens to what it is YOU want and managed to put me at ease - so I enjoyed my experience in the salon and left a happy customer!
