If I could give a hundred stars, I would. Red helped me pass my test first time - absolutely happy to have contacted him and that I had the chance to take lessons from him! Due to the DVLA's current backlog, I could only book Colchester for my test instead of London. No instructor wanted to take me, but Red gave me amazing time slots to get in some practice and brush up on my skills. All my lessons started super promptly, he was really fun to learn with, and his unique methods helped so much with my manouvers. My instructor in London didn't catch many of my mistakes, but we kept doing mock tests with Red, which really helped me. All I had was 5 minors on my test - all of them were tiny things, and thanks to Red, I built up a good and safe driving routine, so I can correct these easily. :) I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. Thanks for everything Red!

Red is a legend! Calm, patient, clear communicator and a good sense of humour. Couldnt find any test slots in London, and Colchester was the shortest commute with any availability. Id driven before in the US but needed a UK license as Im living here now. Red sorted me out with two practise sessions to learn the local roads and understand what the examiners are looking for before going in for the test. This ended up being the perfect strategy - as an American I wasnt used to roundabouts, and Colchester is full of them (even something called a magic roundabout, which is basically a roundabout of roundabouts). There were also some small things - mirror checks, manoeuvres - which I definitely needed practice on. By the end of my lessons with Red I felt well prepped and confident going into the test. Passed first time with only 1 minor - thanks Red! Would highly recommend to any learners.
