Getting an emergency appointment has been impossible. My partner has had an infection for over a week. I called and was told he needs to call the next day at 8:30, which he did and was the first caller but they said all emergency appointments had gone and no one was now in for 4 days. I called 4 days later and they said they could not book without talking to my partner because of GDPR?? I said I cannot lose this space I've waited 20 minutes in the queue, he will be back in 5 minutes. She refused and said it was the process, so I had to hang up. Of course when he called back straight after he was number 7 in the queue and told he had missed all the appointments for today. We have now had to pay privately, and of course, I was able to book on his behalf. GDPR does not stop you from booking for someone else, it stops the sharing of restricted and personal information.

There was a little bit of an atmosphere amongst staff -which is understandable-we are all human-but my treatment and care was 1st class -thankyou
