I've been meaning to write this testimonial for Mark for ages, as I can't stress enough how much he has helped me in the running and growing of my business over the past 6 months. My life is full of people who want to give me business advice, but everyone has an agenda. To speak with someone truly independent who can look at my business with outside eyes is invaluable. Mark has helped me see the possibilities within my industry and always challenges me to be bolder. I chose Mark over other business mentors because I felt he understood my industry (the arts) and that he was up to date with online selling and marketing techniques. He also appears to have none of the limiting beliefs that many men have about women in business. Some people struggle to have business ideas, I have too many and am prone to flit about from one thing to another. Mark helps keep me on track whilst still working with my natural tendency to manage multiple projects at once. Since setting up my own graphic design business I have struggled with a healthy-work life balance. I have been feeling overwhelmed by my workload and also suffered with confidence issues. I started working with Mark a few months ago and have made huge progress since. He has enabled me to clearly focus on my business goals and how to achieve them step-by-step. I now have a much clearer idea of where I want to go with my business, which has not just boosted my confidence and self-belief, but has changed and grown my mindset too. Mark has taught me simple and effective strategies to prioritise my workload and to occasionally be brave enough to say no. As a result, I can use my time more effectively for project and strategic work, and it has helped me to create valuable time for my family and myself. I appreciate Marks proactive yet casual approach and his probing questions to get to the bottom of issues and problems it makes for very effective and fun business coaching.
