Not my usual bank but so pleased we visited. After visiting Barclays to open my children a bank account and being told the nearest appointment was nearly two months away we wandered up the High Street and found ourselves in Metro bank. We were seen to almost immediately and were helped by a very helpful man who opened the accounts. We even left with the new debit cards and the apps set up on their phones. Very impressed. All this in the same day and without an appointment.

Colchester branch. This is my second visit over the last 2 weeks. Each time there has been 4 staff behind the counter but only 1 staff member dealing with enquiries and opening accounts. So far, I have been waiting an hour to see somebody. I feel the service somewhat lacking!! I deliberately avoided lunch times too.
